I LOVE participating in the Magical Product Swap. It's a great opportunity to learn about a fellow seller. This time around, I have the privilege of working with 2 wonderful ladies. I will be reviewing a wonderful sentence activity by Sasha Hallagan.
She will review a product by Melissa Dalton and Melissa will be reviewing one of my products.
Be sure to check out the stores and blogs of these amazing ladies! I will be offering one product for FREE to 1 lucky lady (or gentleman). I will choose a winner sometime Saturday morning.
4 Sentence Building Literacy Centers |
I reviewed Sasha's 4 Sentence Building Literacy Centers for Early Childhood or Special Education. I love them!! There are several different activities included in this pack. Each activity has lots of practiced included. You really get your money's worth with this packet!
This is the first activity in the packet and the reason I had to have this file. There are a total of 9 pages of sentences. Each page has 6 sentences that are color coded. I cut out the sentences for my students.
The students took all of their pieces and sorted them by color. Next, they picked a color and put the words in order to make a sentence. We put the words right on the paper to help with spacing.
Students continued working until all of their sentences were in order and written out. Sasha also included the ending punctuation with the last word of the sentence. My students loved this activity. It really helped my students who are unable to develop their own sentences.
This file also contains 10 pages of sentence/not a sentence sorts.
10 pages of sentence spinners are included. These are going to be so much fun for the students. You cut out each circle and make them into spinners. Each student/group of students will need all three spinners. The student spins all three spinners and uses the words/phrases to create a funny sentence.
And, 10 pages of who, what, where pages.
I told you the file was jammed packed. There are so many wonderful activities for your kiddos. I know you will like it as much as I do. Hop on over to Sasha's store and check it out. Don't forget to stop by Melissa's blog and check out my product.
