I actually did a very similar cra...This is so cute! I actually did a very similar craft with a student I did homebound instruction with. It was great because she could rip the paper to create the seaweed and I had helped cut out a fish from a picture she had colored before, oh - and we made an octopus by tearing paper for his eight legs.
