By the end of the second week of school, the entire class knows everyone's number (except me!).

I do want to focus more on the positives and hope this new system will help me. I also want the kids to recognize each other for kind acts instead of tattling. I wonder if I can work that into the system somehow? One Room Schoolhousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04220416947705752421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6764006739531924825.post-1148929346180935492012-06-06T22:27:22.845-04:002012-06-06T22:27:22.845-04:00I really want to try this next year! I like the idea of paying the other student. It leaves students accountable for their actions!
Lisa
Learning Is Something to TreasureLisa R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13600005188065310724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6764006739531924825.post-22339070916753663272012-06-06T17:34:17.141-04:002012-06-06T17:34:17.141-04:00I started using that same system this year and rea...I started using that same system this year and really struggled with it at first as I wasn't used to looking for the "good" behavior. I also found it was important for the students to take ownership of their clips and have to move them up and down rather than me having to do it. It was hard to get used to, but once I adjusted it worked wonderfully!

Jennifer @ Herding Kats In KindergartenJennifer K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15114666136412667718noreply@blogger.com
